Tree Pros was founded in 2003 when Paul Goin returned to Denver after years of tree work abroad. He wanted to bring a different approach to tree care to the Denver metro area — one built on better arboricultural practices, honest recommendations, and personal customer service.

The company was built around professional standards, tree preservation when appropriate, integrity, experience, and expertise. Tree Pros remains family-owned and operated, intentionally small and personal. The team cares deeply about tree health, customer relationships, property protection, and honest recommendations.

Paul began working in tree care in 1981 in Golden, Colorado. He started as a ground laborer and became an ISA Certified Arborist in 1988.

Over a career spanning more than four decades, Paul has worked for various tree care companies in Denver and the surrounding metro area, as well as in the Netherlands, Suriname, Honduras, and Washington, D.C. He has held nearly every major operational position in the industry — from ground laborer to production climber, supervisor, and district manager — including roles at some of the largest tree care companies in the world.

He returned to Denver in 2003 and founded Tree Pros, bringing that depth of experience to every property the company serves.

ISA Board Certified Master Arborist

The highest credential offered by the International Society of Arboriculture, achieved by Paul in January 2015.

ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ)

Formal qualification to assess tree risk and the likelihood of structural failure.
